How to find and inspect out the led panel you are purchasing is high quality or not.
In order to make it more clearly to understand, we set our panel light as example to do analysis in 9 different sides and compare with low level cheaper LED panel.
1. Treatment – 9003RAL surface treatment, beautiful appearance, high-end, seamless joint, no light leakage, consistent color of each batch incoming material.
But Suppliers which provide price of 36W 6060 panel light lower than USD20.00/piece are mainly located at Zhejiang, Zhongshan area. Panel lights of those suppliers are without surface treatment, low cost, silver, and many defects on the surface, low quality, not be pretty, no texture, like below:
2. Aluminum Frame Material – A-Plus panel light adopt thicker aluminum, so its weight is two times of those cheaper panel lights on the market; high strength, no deformation, excellent heat dissipation.

3. Light Guide Plate Thickness – Apollo panel light adopt 3-4MM light guide plate which is made of PMMA material imported from Mitsubishi of Japanese, high transmittance. Those cheaper panel lights generally adopt 2MM-2.5MM light guide plate, made of domestic PMMA, or PS material.

4. Diffuser – Diffuser of Apollo lighting LED panel is made of PC, and diffuser of cheaper panel light is made of PS or PP. Comparison as below:
High transmittance PMMA, which will not be yellowing after long time use, is the preferred material of panel light, but it cost high.
Light transmittance of PC is poorer than PMMA, but high-temperature resistant, which will not be yellowing after long time use. Cost is higher than PMMA, but its toughness is strong, can be made into very thin shape, good for save cost and keep quality.
Light transmittance of PS is inferior than PC, breakable, will be yellowing, dirt on surface are difficult to clean, and cost is lower than PC and PMMA.
Transmittance of PP is the same as PS，breakable, will be yellowing, dirt on surface are difficult to clean. But its cost is the lowest. Transmittance：PMMA 94%, PC 88%, PS.PP 80%.
5. Back Cover – Our panel adopt 0.5MM galvanized iron and aluminum, high strength, no deformation. Cheaper panel light adopt 0.3MM or galvanized iron lower than 0.3MM, easily deformation, can’t protect lamp well.

6. Power Supply – A-Plus panel light adopt isolated power supply, On-Brilliant of Taiwan, imported components, stable quality, long lifetime, OEM by Domestic top brands TOPBRAND and MOSO.
Cheaper panel light adopt domestic cheap chip (immature technology, poor stability), non-isolated solution (low cost, high efficiency, not safe).

7. Data of Test Report – we test panel light adopt IES test parameter, the test data are more accurate, and customers can simulate the IES effect.
Most of the led panel light manufacturer on the market adopt integrating sphere test, and the integrating sphere test data is 10% higher than IES test data. Some dishonest factories obtain good test result by adjusting parameters. Data in specifications of many small companies are much higher than actual test data.
8. LEDs – Our a-plus panel light: adopt 10*30MIL 2835 SMD LED with high brightness, encapsulated by (Hongli &Refond), which are the two most famous LED manufacturer, high light efficiency, stable quality, long lifetime. All products are focus on 1-2 pin, consistent color, can provide LM 80 report, has spectral color separation standard.
Most cheaper panel lights adopt LEDs of poor quality, bracket (poor heat dissipation, high power consumption), glue(poor heat dissipation, high light efficacy, easily to be yellowing), chip (mixed copper alloy wire, poor heat conductivity, easily breakable), and hide safety problems after long time use.
9. Warranty – A-Plus panel lights with 5 years warranty. 2 year or 3 years warranty for cheaper panel light.
